Image: 1594806 To mark Record Store Day 2015, Dublin based crew Fatty Fatty Phonographics reissue their first release, Pablo and Shoey's 'The Rejigs Vol 1'. Originally released at the tail end of 2011, it sold out its limited run within weeks, thanks in part to DJ support from the likes of Crazy P, Sleazy Beats and Yam Who?.

Having seen chancers trying to shift copies for 40 quid on that Discogs, it felt like the right time to step in and end the madness, particularly since their own copies are starting to look a bit rough about the edges too.

The standout track here is an epic remake of 'Taste Of Bitter Love' by Gladys Knight and The Pips, which stretches the original 4 minute track into a 9 minute tears on the dancefloor end of nighter. With its emotive intro and outro and brand new chopped up middle eight, it's not hard to see why this one has got spins through the pristine soundsystem at The Loft's London parties.

The other tracks ain't half bad either, with 'Jazzy Grandad' playing off a funky as all hell piano sample and some nicely stewed psychedelic guitar, as well as some wise words about the jazz for all you cheeky whippersnappers out there.

'Raw Human Emotion' does exactly what it says on the tin too, taking the disco-soul stomper that provided that vocal refrain from Primal Scream's 'Loaded' and sending it right into 21st Century disco heaven. All this and you get to the stick it to the Discogs leeches, support your local record store and glory in the sound of pristine, well pressed wax, just as the Good Lord intended!

B2. JAZZY GRANDAD Available from 18.04.2015
