"When you have the funk and soul flowing through your veins, it's a special thing. Guitarist Hugh Gledhill (James Taylor Quartet and Jezebel Sextet) has just that ... A fitting edition to your Modern soul collection, Hugh Gledhill gets a major thumbs up from Flea Market Funk. Soul music the way its meant to be heard, pure and simple." - DJ Prestige (Flea Market Funk)
"Amazing recording, fantastic players - it reminds me of the real vibe of those Stax recordings." - Yvan Serrano-Fontova (DJ Healer Selecta)
"One the funkiest guitarists in London, Hugh Gledhill (Jezebel Sextet, Sir Joe Quarterman, James Taylor Quartet) has put whole his soul into this funk project after digesting all the best recipes to cook the hard way: soul jazz, boogaloo, raw soul and hard funk!" - Stéfan Garcia (Saint Paul Soul Jazz)
"Blue Note funky boogaloo meets Muscle Shoals soul ... Great stuff" - Leigh Gracie (Speedometer) Available from 03.10.2014
