Image: 1582711 1. Whoa! 2. Champagne 3. In Chains 4. Turquoise / Mwëslee and BFlecha’s Arkestra welcomes Barcelona producer Alizzz to la familia. Alizzz's sound favours a lush, luxurious melodic synth aesthetic bathing the listener in chordal bliss and RnB vibes full of harmony, key changes, solos and slick 80s soul. The title track Whoa! is in fact an infectious and cheerful jam reminiscent of the 90s swingbeat and g-funk era but injected with a contemporary boost of bass and snap. It's the summer anthem you were looking for to bump loud on your cabrio or the pool party. The tempo and the lights drop low for Champagne, a perfectly crafted “bedbanger” vocally assisted by rapper/singer Kongo Lacosta. His lascivious croon, wrapped in silky synths and tinkling percussion, sounds like an Isley Brothers's ballad for the unicode writing generation. Put your hands in the air for the B side, where In Chains links the digital polyrhythmic madness of Alizzz's previous work with garage-ish and even artcore mannerisms, plenty of unexpected changes and horror vacui detailing. This is the one for the prejudice free dancefloors. Available from 19.07.2013
