Dengue Dengue Dengue!Dengue Dengue Dengue! is an audiovisual duo born in mid-2010 in Lima, Peru and is conformedby Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira, who were already working together on other projects, both aspart of the Peruvian based ‘Colectivo Auxiliar’. The name Dengue Dengue Dengue! comes from a Enrique Lynch’s vinyl, who played a rhythm called “Dengue”.

The project has created a storm right from the start and they made a name for themselves thanks to an impeccable audiovisual show, half dj set and half live, remixing and making mash-ups from their own tracks with old cumbias and modifying cumbia cult themes to electronic versions. All this always joined by amazing visuals and the always present masks.

In early 2011 they began to publish their first productions, being blogged in major and specialized music portals, in countries like Mexico, USA, France and England among others. They begun to sound harder everytime, playing in major events and festivals, sharing the stage with international artists such as Mad Professor, Bomba Stereo, Manu Chao and Calle 13, and also having the honor of playing with legendary Peruvian cumbia groups such as The Shapis and Los Destellos.

Along with the Colectivo Auxiliar, the start producing the TOMA! parties, helping to consolidate the growing and vibrant fusion Tropical movement in Lima, Peru, inviting musicians and DJs from different places to share sounds and experiences.

In 2012 they released their debut album “La Alianza Profana” (or “The Unholy Alliance”) and the video for the single “Simiolo”. The Album and video are an instant success with both the press and fans, locally and internationally too. They’ve been invited to participate at one of the greatest festivals of contemporary culture in the world: NOVA in Sao Paulo, Brazil and to the Iberoamerican Design Bienal in Madrid, Spain. 2013 started with a tour to Mexico in February and another tour is planned for European in June/July. This is going to be a year full of surprises and new releases.
