Image: 1580392 META006 Sees Lenzman return in the true style that only Lenz can, with the beautifully crafted “Empty Promise”. Featuring his now renowned and revered signature future soul sound, “Empty Promise” glistens with that Lenz quality to provide a result that is nothing short of stunning.

“Empty Promise” reaches deep inside with its unique blend of lush pads and subtle chords, layered in perfect balance above a bass line intricately crafted with Lenz own pinpoint blend of Sub and mid bass harmonics to provide the perfect emotionally charged backdrop for the soothingly stirring, silk smooth lead vocal. With all elements melting together in unison and with nothing but pure musicality embedded right at its core “Empty Promise” delivers with the Lenz sound we all know and love, music for the heart and music for the soul.

In true compliment the flipside sees Makoto go in to deliver his own interpretation of Lenzman’s hugely successful Broken Dreams. The main elements still ever present from the original (as they should be when the source material is this good!) Makoto switches things up leading with a rising synth line and cleverly delayed and verb’d vocal alongside a heavy helping of rolling drums to keep things moving nicely, while all importantly maintaining all of the essence that made the original as amazing as it was.
