Raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Ruste Juxx is a long-time favorite of the core Duck Down Music fan base. Sean Price, who has taken Ruste Juxx on multiple cross-country tours to help build his name and fan base, mentored Ruste, helping him become the talented MC he is today.
For his latest offering “V.I.C.”, Ruste Juxx has teamed up with The Arcitype, a promising producer from Boston, MA. The album features Ruste rhyming over Arcitype’s entirely sample-free production, prominent bass, and cohesive arrangement. The album is hardcore in nature and depicts Ruste’s real-life situations, however it is entirely curse free.
The album features Ill Bill, Guilty Simpson, R.A. The Rugged Man, Planet Asia, Termanology, Sadat X, Steele of Smif N Wessun and more.
Over the past four years, Ruste Juxx has scanned 10,000+ units with his releases “Indestructible” (2008); “The Exxecution” with producer Marco Polo (2010); “Adamantine” (2010); and “Hardbodie Hip Hop” with Kyo Itachi (2012).
Ruste Juxx is currently on a US tour for the month of August to promote “V.I.C.” Release shows have been scheduled for late September in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
