dDamageFor more than a decade, the unruly Hanak brothers, better known as dDamage, have been navigating and dragging a stormy reputation on the French electronic scene. Always thirsty, they offer us the 6th opus of their extensive discography, “Brother in Death.” This modern electric album, maybe better labelled as electronic, breaks a vegetative French Touch worn out by flat and identical tones.

In spite of their troublemakers’ reputation, this exceptional album requires several listenings to penetrate its outstanding pieces organized in multiple layers of sound combined with both harmony and rage in a whirlwind where one could almost feel like touching the light.

dDamage are neither punks, nor rappers, neither electro DJs, nor hype surfers, hard to be categorized, their music feeds of different genres; one could refer to them as the agents provocateurs of a melancholic era, apocalypse visionaries.
