The first 7inch single released in 2009 sold out instantly, creating a huge buzz and hunger for more. Alas the record was not to be repressed but the wait is finally over as RF finally release their debut album.

The album starts with the aforementioned single, the jam cover of The Pharcyde’s “Runnin’” and Souls Of Mischief mid-90s hip hop classic “93 ’til Infinity”. Next up “Who Needs Forever” is the sampling source of Japanese hip hop classics: Ramp Eye / Shogen, a contemporary twist on the original version. “Love Theme From Spartacus” is sampled by Nujabes, a classic of UK Jazz DJ scene percolated to RF world.

“Walk On The Wild Side” is a dub and sound art interpretation of Lou Reed’s rock classic, taking it’s inspiration from A Tribe Called Quest’s “Can I Kick It”. “Coco” is the breezy and mellowized version of Joe Thomas, the sampling source of Buddha Brand / Buddha No Kyujitsu. Sample by Time Machine on “You And Me” is George Duke’s mellow tune turned into acoustic style. Funky swing number “More Swing” is an answer tune from RF to Jurassic 5′s “Swing Set”. “Hipnova” is just like a megamix of brazillian hip hop, while “Fiesta” is a Latin jazz reproduction of Five Deez samples imbued with RF’s color.
