Xinobi is Bruno Cardoso, a major in fine arts and a musical explorer by excellence. He has his roots in punk, rock and skateboarding but he also really likes disco and to dance. Over the past few years the mastermind from Portugal has developed his very own versatile and honest sound. You want to know more about him? Well, he’s a goofyfoot, shy and funny, acid and sweet, smart and proud of it. He doesn’t like Sushi that much. He hates to be called a dumb ass – which is kind of unfair – but he’s also fair, epic, and epileptic.
Together with his buddy Moullinex he founded the label and collective Discotexas, now with cult status and still ascending in popularity – being considered as one of the biggest influences in the emerging electronic scene.
In the meantime Xinobi established himself as a regular remixer of artists like Loose Shus (for whom he remixed “Threesome”, released by Plant Music), Nightriders, Gooseflesh, Moullinex, among others. In the near future, there will be the release of a track created in cooperation with Arthur Baker and Moulinex, and a remix of Giorgio Moroder, to be included in a compilation of remixes from the epic E=MC2.
Xinobi has also been requested by several worldwide clubs, and together with Moullinex, they embody one of the biggest live acts / dj-sets you’ll ever see. Promised!
