From the stable that brought you Pendulum’s silver selling “Hold Your Colour” comes the debut album by the man who launched the label with Adam F, DJ Fresh.

Already one of the biggest DJ / Producers in drum and bass circles, Fresh was part of the ‘Wu Tang of Jungle’ the Bad Company UK collective that released three albums in the early 2000s, that even The Times and FHM judged as groundbreaking.

“Escape From Planet Monday” is the musical journey of a producer who, better known for uncompromising dancefloor anthems, has drawn inspiration deeper to come up with a varied and exciting collection. The eclectic list of contributors gives some intriguing clues: Pendulum, Mary Byker, Nathan Haines, DJ Shadow, Neil Tennant and Jeremy Beadle. Fresh seasons his drum and bass with reggae, funk, electro, hip hop, jazz, pop and metal to stunning effects. “Escape From Planet Monday” surprises and seduces with every beat, with drum and bass providing the rhythms to a deeply original and compelling album.

“The debut album and pinnacle of Fresh’s productions so far. Using every style in D&B whilst creating new ones. This is essential!” Andy C

“Every track, production wise and musically, they’re all fucking great!” DJ Hype

The album DJ FreshEscape From Planet Monday” (Breakbeat Kaos) is going to be released May 19, 2006.
