DJ Day is a DJ and producer from Palm Springs, California, who rocks the MKIIs, MPC and Fender Rhodes. His 12″ “What Planet What Station” on Milk Crate Records was a massive underground hit in 2004. He signed with Melting Pot Music in 2005 and released his first 12″ “Gone Bad” (MPM018) last November. Skills-wise he is a classic hip hop DJ, but his musical agenda has no limit. Check his recent mix for Florian Keller’s radio show on Samurai FM and you know the deal.

Right now DJ Day is working on his first album for Melting Pot Music that will feature his long-time friends Exile and Aloe Blacc. He has also lined up singles for Sound In Color and Subcontact and will be featured on the album “Breakbeatraer”.
