Since Shakeyface released his debut EP, 2002’s Puddle Jumping During a Monsoon on Belgium’s Quatermass recordings, this electro-hop boy wonder has been busy with several compilation appearances, a collabo song “Starship” with DJ Wally on his Emulatory Whoredom album theAgriculture), a remix of his “Crazy, Crazy Like a Fox” by Adventure Time (Frosty & Daedelus) on Plug Research, and dj’ing alongside the likes of Dangermouse, Prefuse 73, Boozoo Bajou, Tommy Sunshine, Hollertronix, Five Deez, Beans, Rich Medina, Kudu and Funkstörung.
Shakeyface’s album Bicycle Day Boogaloo will be released early March, 2006 on It’s Bananas Music. Ranging from uptempo frenetic rhythm freakouts to brooding abstract hip-hop, the album harmoniously strings together disparate musical and emotional worlds through Shakeyface’s skilled production style.

“Highlights: Shakeyface’s hypnotic tabla-hop and tear-jerked electro-funk” – XLR8R

“Off center but on target” – XLR8R

“Thick, dirty beats…melding warm jazz and soul to stark, electronic beeps and odd, disconnected sound effects, generating a surprisingly loose, mellow vibe.” –

“The album knits strands of dub, reggae, soul, and jazz into a warm wooly hip hop hoody, with a big B for Brooklyn on the back. With beats reminiscent of DJ Shadow and programming akin to Nightmares On Wax , Mr. Shakey could be abstract hip hop’s next big thing.” –
