Raekwon is a legendary MC straight out of the Wu Tang camp. There is not much more we need to say to introduce Raekwon. “The Vatican Mixtape Vol.1” is the first release from the Shaolin rep since 2003’s “The Lex Diamond Story”. Featuring both new and previously unreleased material, the CD includes guest spots from partner-in-rhyme Ghostface Killah, Nas, ODB and Busta Rhymes, among others. It also features production from Kanye West, Pete Rock, Madlib, and J. Dilla. “The Vatican Mixtape Vol.1” has to be a must in your collection of classic Wu-Tang shit. Gritty, real, and suspensive as it also gives you a taste for whats to come from the “Only Built for Cuban Links 2” album. Some say this is definetly a good look for Reakwon, the album is considered be his best work lately. Reminescent to the “Only Built for Cuban Links” critically acclaimed classic.

“The Vatican Mixtape Vol.1″ will be limited so get them before they runout. The 12” “Kids Thats Rich” Produced by Pete Rock, is circulating around the radio & media and build steady buzz. The Vatican is a prelude to Rae’s highly anticipated Cuban Linx II album. It is reported that The Rza will handle 90% of the LP’s production with the additional beats coming from none other than Dr. Dre and Nottz. Busta Rhymes is also reportedly signed on to executive produce the project. Need we say more?

The album RaekwonThe Vatican Mixtape Vol.1” (Counterflow) is going to be released March 10, 2006.
