B9000 Records, the independent Hip Hop label based in Belgium Europe known for it’s previous releases such as the L-Fudge “Love Letters” 12inch, the Monster Island Czars (MF Doom, MF Grimm, Megalon) “Run the Sphere” 12inch, the Grazzhoppa’s “Dayz of Thunder” 2LP / CD, the Mr.Complex “Rhapsody” 12inch, Five Deez’s “Stupid” B/W “Chilly Most” 12inch, Dj Revolution’s “Trading Places” 12inch, Declaime & Kanzulu’s “Government” 12inch, Mums the Word’s “People Keep Movin'” full lenght CD and 12inch is proud to present Kazi‘s debut album “The Plague“.

Kazi, born and raised in the Ox, also known as Oxnard California, is ready to drop a plague on the world. Are you ready? Well, be prepared ˜cause this album is a straight “make you feel good / give you goosebumbs / headnodding ” type of album.

Kazi was the first artist to shine on the Stones Throw imprint with the 12″ “Down for the Kaz”, produced by the #1 beat creator Madlib. This 12″ definitely set the standards for the Stones Throw label and was immediatly considered as classic. It gave Kazi a dope MC profile. He boosted a couple more dope features on the Lootpack album and on the “music4allcities” compilation. Last year he dropped a collab 12″ with Oh No.

After a serious time of waiting we are finally blessed with Kazi’s first full lenght album. The album is called “The Plague” and believe it: it is! And that’s just what Hip Hop needs nowadays: a plague that will set the standards back to “woooaaaw this is classic”.

“The Plague” is entirely (except for 1 track produced by Kankick) produced by Oh No the disrupt, one of the West Coast’s finest producers and MC’s to be reckoned with. Oh No (Urb Magazines Next 100 choice) is the brother of Madlib. Following in his brother’s footsteps he has been causing mad reck on the scene. His production credits includes artists like Kazi, Wildchild, KaliWild, Medaphoar, Epitome, Aloe Blacc, Planet Asia, LMNO, Lootpack, Infamous MC, Declaime, and many more.

“The Plague” features guest MC’s Oh No, Declaime, WildChild, Aloe Blacc, Spontaneous, Dr. OOP, Medaphoar, Dudley Perkins, CornBread and Infamous MC.
