Darmstadt’s Thorsten Scheu started out producing under the name of Siro for the highly respected Playhouse / Klang family (Frankfurt). These first tracks blended his love for hip hop with electronic music. Under his Glance moniker, Thorsten Scheu released several singles and in 2000 his full length debut “Never In Time” on C-Rock’s Stir 15 imprint. His latest production is the stunning “Up In The Basement” – released as Soul Supply on the Running Back label. Running Back, founded by Gerd Janson and Thorsten Scheu himself in 2001, is definitely not your average, polished and clean deep house label. The Running Back sound is raw and somewhat old school. His next 12″ will be the “Taking Care Of Me” on New Jersey’s Wake Up Records.
