Madvillain. First up, the official MF DOOM & Madlib collaboration will be released this spring. The 12-inch “All Caps b/w Curls” is hitting stores this week. The full-length enhanced CD Madvillainy will include the video for All Caps, and a full lyric book. We’ll be posting the artwork and track list (in case you haven’t seen it already), and audio clips up here soon. This one drops before Spring. Release date: Late March!

Yesterdays New Quintet – Stevie. YNQ’s tribute to Stevie Wonder finally gets a proper release this spring. This project began as a private project for Madlib’s and the Quintet’s ears only, and was released in rough form as a limited promo-only CD a while back. Each song has now been remastered, and an extra track has been added. This will be released as a digipack CD and 2/LP. This is the first and only official release of “Stevie” on vinyl. Cover & track list coming soon. Release date: April.

J Rocc & Steinski split 12″ single. The truth comes out – The World Famous Beat Junkie was born in Connecticut and old school pioneer was born in New York – which borders Connecticut. Well, maybe the last part isn’t that surprising, but those were reasons enough to enlist these two edit kingpins to cull the funkiest beats and breaks from the Third Unheard compilation into two awesome megamixes.

Stezo featuring Dooley O. Say what? Cuts from mid-school rap superstar Stezo’s unreleased second album? A previously unreleased dis-track directed towards EPMD produced by Connecticut legend Dooley O? Funky fresh, super dope? Wait and see. (P.S. A remix of Stezo’s “Piece Of The Pie” came out just this month on Koushik’s Hip Hop Remixes limited white-label 12-inch EP. Also see Dooley O’s Watch My Moves 1990 12-inch single.)

Jaylib – McNasty Filth. This track is was given an all-new mix down and now sounds better and bumps harder than the version that appears on “Champion Sound”. The 12-inch will come b/w Pillz (vocal & instrumental). The video for McNasty Filth has been completed, featuring Madlib, Dilla, Frank-N-Dank, J-Rocc, the entire 805 crew, and ….. a whole lot of strippers. The release of the 12″ and video are currently being held up by some slightly x-rated images.

Wildchild’s “Wonder Years b/w Remix” should be out soon, and we’ll be premiering the video here later this month. Wildchild is also featured on the Stones Throw 45 from the legenary 45 King, “Two-Five”, released this month.”
