Releasing the “21st Century Soul” album in 2001 Ubiquity now present Kirk Degiorgio’s own favorite As One back catalog moments so far – many of which are now criminally hard to find, alongside three previously unreleased tracks.

Kirk Degiorgio has etablished himself as a key player in the UK electronic scene over the course of six As One albums in twelve years. The As One signature sound is full of warm strings, innovative drum programming, and lush synth washes. He injects buckets of emotion into techno, a genre often misunderstood as being cold, repetitive and unrelentless. Jazz, funk and soul influences from P-Funk, Motown, early hip hop, Detroit techno, and mid 1960’s Blue Note collide on the 18 tracks that were recorded and recovered for this retrospective.

“So Far (So Good …” is a new Ubiquity compilation series featuring tracks, remixes, unreleased music, and classics from the critical artists, labels, and movements that inspire true music fans.
