In the world of San Francisco jazz personalities, none has more of an enviable position than Mr. Andrew Jervis; a man who has had his fingers in a multitude of very tasty pies for the last couple of years. For a start, he hosts one of the best radio shows in San Francisco on KUSF covering everything from old skool jazz to the newer leftfield jazz / techno fusion and everything in between. In 1997, Andrew gave up his 3-year editor job with “On the One”, and began working for Ubiquity Records, where he is currently Vice President. Since its inception, Ubiquity has carved a niche for itself as one of the few labels to embrace many styles of electronic music into its own unique West coast nu-jazz sound.
