Frightened neighbors have reported seeing a strange man in a metal mask running around the hills of Los Angeles.
Actually, it’s just MF Doom, who came out to the Stones Throw compound recently to work with Madlib on a new album. They were down in Madlib’s Bomb Shelter studio for over a week trading beats back and forth, with Madlib handling much of the production, and Doom doing most of the rhymes.
One track in the works: Quasimoto’s “America’s Most Blunted”.
An interesting side note, this is MF Doom’s only second time in California since a show in San Jose with KMD opening for De La Soul, Leaders, and Brand Nubian – in 1991.
