Can you dig it ? MEHRWERT, the Colonian label that gave us Paloma, Frank Martiniq and Nordsuedfahrt (to only name a few) are proud to introduce their latest signing GEYSER. Riad Michael aka GEYSER kicks a unique blend of funked up analog grooves and melodies filtered with brandnew electronica. Whether its chilled out to the max or uptempo GEYSER’s music always has a highly personal sound that doesn’t fit into one box. His debut album “DIGGER” contains Funk, Dub and Drum & Bass as well as weird noises and little abstract pop tunes. It would make a great movie soundtrack and works better on the couch or in the car than on the dancefloor. GEYSER’s casual way of producing music really is the strength of “Digger”; another prime example of low-fi futurism.
