Spectrum Works is proud to release this special edition gem (limited to 1000 copies). After the huge success of Karma’s third longplay CD “Modifications”, comes this on vinyl previously unreleased modal jazz nugget.
Due to popular demand by the German jazz crew (Jazzanova /Michael Rütten / Compost Crew) “Modifications Pt.1” finally sees its vinyl release. Combining a chilled 5/4th jazz beat with fluffy keys and spacey textures, this laidback offbeat soother turns into an afrobeat club tool even for the most discerning dancefloors making it a great transitional tune to switch tempo and mood in a DJ set.
Finally Karma’s “Let’s Go Thrillseeking” gets the remix treatment by non other than german Kraut and Electronic guru Klaus Schulze of Tangerine Dream fame. An 8 minute journey into synth layers and deep chords for those who know. This tune is one of the first releases for a reactivated Mr.Schulze and it’s obvious that he still knows his trade. A future chill out classic ! Watch out for more news on this man via his newly founded Rainhorse imprint.
