Bay Area/Cologne
The Bay Area super emcees RASCO and PLANET ASIA have joined forces as CALI AGENTS. After their dope 12″ collabo “Good Life” they have now completed the CALI AGENTS full-length album “HOW THE WEST WAS ONE”. The album is set to become one of the strongest Bay Area underground joints of the year. Even though RASCO expressed mixed feelings concerning the “underground savior tag” in a recent interview with the Source: “I used to think it was a blessing, but it’s becoming more of a burden because the fans of the underground have it twisted; they have a warped sense of what underground really is. My music doesen’t make me underground. Underground is a state of being. I like to say I’m independent. I have to take the indie route; it allows me to do what I want to do, when I want to do it and how.”
“How The West Was One” will be released in the US on Rasco’s own POCKETS LINTED label and in Europe on SUPERRAPPIN. Street date is 5 June 2000.
